Your Tasks

 

As a Business Development Manager, you will engage in active outbound prospecting, build networks and develop business areas for customers in Germany. You will qualify for business opportunities, analyse customer needs, and position our solutions. Your focus will be on customised and digital services in the Business Platforms business unit. You will also identify cross-selling potential and contribute to our customers' digital progress with tailored solutions.

  • You will build and maintain a strong network by attending trade fairs and events, managing structured invitation processes, and setting up meetings with potential clients. You will also expand your network through spontaneous conversations at these events and follow up with automated lead updates in our CRM to generate new business opportunities,

  • Utilizing platforms like LinkedIn, you will engage with potential clients and expand your network through targeted digital interactions,

  • You will actively engage with warm leads from marketing campaigns (e.g., Account-Based Marketing) and partner lead lists, working closely with the marketing team to identify and follow up on qualified business opportunities,

  • You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to analyze campaign performance and use insights to refine outreach strategies for potential clients,

  • You are willing to travel to Germany 1-2 times per month to take part in fair trades and visits, 

  • Depending on market and project needs, you will make targeted initial phone contacts or manage partners handling this task based on defined KPIs for specific campaigns.

 

Your qualifications

 

  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in sales or business development, ideally in a digital environment and within the Business Platforms sector,

  • You have already built a professional network and are eager to expand it at SUNZINET. Experience in networking at in-person events and through social selling is highly desirable,

  • Previous experience working in or with agencies is a plus,

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills(C1-C2) in both German and English, with a professional and confident presence—both in person and on social media,

  • A high level of enthusiasm, self-motivation, and responsibility.
